We are locally owned and we are based out of Spring Hill, FL (Hernando County). We are a small business who helps people who are looking to purchase tiny homes of 80 sq ft to 1500 sq ft. With the thought of people who want to rent apartments because they don’t want a lot of space or they want to downsize from a bigger home to a smaller home, we came up with a dream of owning a tiny home, office, Mancave, She-Shed or etc. The concept of owning a tiny home is that they don’t have to worry about a 15 to 30-year mortgage loan, easy to maintain and can move location to location or choose from our foundation models.
Our homeowners have the choice to buy their new tiny home outright and/or finance through their own bank or our finance company. We are inspired by helping college students, elderly or just people who want the chance to own their own tiny home. David McMillion Owner
David is the founder and owner for Nu Lyfe Homes. He began his construction career at the age of 16yrs old in St. Louis, MO, where he went to a technical trade high school where he learned construction. He worked his way up to owning his own business once he graduated high school. Thereafter he established his business and learned more skills such as drywall finishing , plumbing, electrical and trim carpentry. He continued networking with other tradesmen learning how to tile floors and walls. Then later he learned roofing, siding and concrete laying with his father.
In 2018, he then learned about the tiny home movement. He became more interested in it as he researched it. Then he built his first home in May 2018. He took his project to his first tiny home expo in Tampa, FL. Then he had a setback with the homes in which now in 2021 he has started back building them. Now in 2022 he has brought tiny home foundations to the table.
